Jiu-Jitsu

 

Jiu-Jitsu is a grappling martial art that focuses on controlling opponents and rendering them harmless. Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a tough but gentle art, allowing students of any size to subdue or overcome opponents of greater size, strength, and aggression using leverage, grip, and position.

 

Jiu-Jitsu is an art, a sport, and an excellent form of self-defense for men, women, and children. Although Jiu-Jitsu is a ground-based art, it is an incredibly physical workout that requires mental sharpness and problem-solving skills. Students learn gradually, through consistent training and instruction. Most importantly students develop perseverance, respect, and character through regular training.

Wrestling

 

Wrestling is a sport and a martial art that goes back thousands of years. Bully Jiu Jitsu & Wrestling Academy focuses on folk style wrestling. In folk wrestling one tries to physically control their opponent against their will without injuring them. Wresters attempt to get behind their opponents back and arms, turn them over on their back, and pin them.

 

There are three scoring positions in folk wrestling. Offense, Defense, and Neutral position.
